Most eye conditions can be detected early through comprehensive eye examination even before symptoms are noticeable by an individual e.g. glaucoma, macular degeneration, hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, refractive error in children, etc. There is much more to eye examination at Blackwood Optometry than just testing for glasses and contact lenses. We also carry out a range of tests including intraocular pressure check, fundoscopy, confrontational test, etc to assess the health of your eyes.
